  • Senior Fraud Prevention Event, Monday, July 28, 12:00 to 1:00 pm, at the Pauline Robinson Library, 5575 E 33rd Ave. Featured speaker, Lynn Lowe, who is the Senior Resource Navigator for the City Attorney’s Office, brings years of experience working with fraud victims and has helped hundreds of Denver seniors stay safe from scams. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn valuable tips and tools to protect yourself and your loved ones. What you’ll learn: How to spot common red flags, the latest technology scammers are using, practical ways to avoid becoming a victim of fraud. Cole Family Nature Club

  • Evenings al Fresco at the Denver Botanic Gardens, Wednesday, July 24, 5:00 to 8:30 pm. Stroll the beautiful York Street gardens after hours while enjoying live, unplugged performances by talented local Colorado musicians set throughout the lush landscape. Bring a picnic, a blanket, or a chair, and relax as you take in the music and scenery at your own pace. Tickets are $32 and must be purchased in advance; no onsite sales will be available. The event is rain or shine, and last entry is at 8:00 pm. This is an excellent opportunity to unwind, explore the gardens in the golden light of evening, and support local artists in a unique setting.

  • Movie at the Park, The Sandlot, August 4, at St. Charles Place Park, 3777 Lafayette St., Denver, CO 80205. The movie will begin at sundown, with popcorn and small snacks being provided. Please bring your own blanket or camping chair. Event held by Denver Parks & Recreation.
